Alcohol Focus Scotland 23 October 2025
Alcohol Focus Scotland is running a webinar on alcohol marketing on 6 November at 2-3pm GMT. We are hosting the webinar on behalf of the Alcohol Free Childhood Campaign which calls for a childhood free from alcohol marketing, and is run jointly with Scottish Health Action on Alcohol Problems (SHAAP), British Medical Association (BMA) Scotland, Children in Scotland and Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs (SFAD).
We’ll be hearing from Public Health Scotland on their evidence review on alcohol marketing and advertising, and exploring children and young people’s views on how they experience alcohol marketing and what action they would like to see implemented in Scotland. The webinar will also feature a video message from Maree Todd MSP, Minister for Drugs & Alcohol Policy and Sport.
