NordAN 2026 Conference, Faroe Islands, 7 to 9 October
NordAN invites colleagues from across Europe to join its 2026 conference in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands. The programme is rooted in Nordic and Baltic alcohol and drug policy, while also connecting regional experiences with wider European debates.
The conference will address public health and prevention in the Faroe Islands, alcohol retail monopolies, youth prevention, drug policy, alcohol screening projects, the outcomes of the Scottish alcohol strategy, and broader lessons for alcohol policy in Europe.
The conference will bring together several experienced figures in European alcohol policy, including Lars Møller, former Alcohol Programme Manager at the WHO Regional Office for Europe and now Chief Medical Officer in the Faroe Islands, Bernt Bull, who was closely involved in the international work leading towards the WHO Global Strategy and NordAN President Mariann Skar.

European Conference ‘Digital Alcohol Marketing in the Spotlight; 23 June 2023; Vilnius, Lithuania; Organizers: EUCAM, IOGT/NTO and NTAKK Lithuania
There are important new developments to report and discuss which we would like to present to you. The country where the conference will take place this time is Lithuania. This country has made a clear and learnfull choice with regard to the restriction of digital alcohol marketing.
