Tuesday the 21st of June 2011 Eurocare, the European Alcohol Policy Aliance and STAP, the Dutch institute for alcohol policy, will organize and host a lunch seminar on the protection of teens against the impact of alcohol marketing. The meeting will be held in the European Parliament. Members of the European parliament Anna Hedh and Marian Harkin will host the meeting. 

The speakers will analyze the scientific evidence on the cumulative impact of alcohol marketing and will present the results of two recent European projects on how to better regulate the content and volume of marketing in order to protect young people. One of these is the AMMIE project in which EUCAM contact persons from the Netherlands, Italy, Denmark, Bulgaria and Germany have contributed to the research. The findings from this project will be presented by Tiziana Codenoti from Eurocare Italy.
